All participants must arrive at the meeting place on time. Notify the trip leaders ahead of time if you cannot come or are going to be late.
Follow the instructions from the trip leaders and respect all the participants on the trip. Inform the trip leader if you don't feel well; get injured; cannot catch up or need to leave the group temporarily.
On biking trips, observe all traffic and safety rules. Wait for the trip leaders if you are not familiar with the route.
On hiking trips, stay on the trail all the time. Do not litter. Be conscious to protect the environment. Go for bathroom convenience at least 50 feet away from the trails and water sources. Hike at your comfortable pace. If you are not familiar with the area, wait for and hike with the trip leaders.

image-car1 Request for Carpool Transportation
CMCNY does not oversee, organize and/or is responsible for providing transportation to and from any of the activities. Those who need transportation to join a hike should get to know fellow hikers to arrange a ride by themselves. They can ask the trip leader for the contact information of the hikers who can do others a favor to ride together to the hike. The hikers who need a ride must make the arrangements themselves with the hikers providing the convenience to share the ride. The hikers who need the transportation must respect the good will of the fellow hikers giving them the convenience and should voluntarily and generously compensate the friends who take them to the hike. The transportation arrangement policy to hikes applies to all other CMCNY activities.

image-pay Activity Fee
Only members can join our activities. Non-members are welcome to join membership at their first activity with CMCNY.
No fee is charged on a one day hiking or biking activity. Activity fee is charged for camping, canoeing/kayaking and special activities. All activity fees must be paid before the event.
